There has never been a better time for cycling in the UK - it's the healthy, sustainable way to travel and commute and we've got Olympic Gold Medallists and World Champions in road, track and mountain biking to inspire and lead us. Here in Dumfries and Galloway we're also blessed with some of the best cycling country in the world - from award winning mountain bike trails, to low-traffic, swooping roads as used in the Tour of Britain as well as great touring opportunities with coast, river valleys and challenging hills all in one compact, accessible region. So, we think it's time to celebrate all that's good about cycling, in what is arguably the home of the modern bicycle. We hope you'll join us.
