Media Releases February 15, 2009 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE WMBC REGISTRATION NOW OPEN
The World Mountain Bike Conference is delighted to announce that Registration for delegates is now OPEN. The Conference, to be held in Dumfries, Scotland, will run from Tuesday 12th May to Friday 15th May 2009. Dumfries and Galloway is extremely well-placed to host this event. The world’s first pedal cycle was made here in 1839 by Kirkpatrick MacMillan and the area is home to the famous 7stanes (www.7stanes.gov.uk) - seven mountain biking centres spanning the south of Scotland from the heart of the Scottish Borders to Dumfries and Galloway.
Early indications are that the conference will attract a large number of delegate registrations internationally - including land managers, trail organisers and resort operators. Join us at the Conference to pool ideas on how to manage mountain biking as an environmental, economic and socially sustainable activity.
Conference Fees are as follows;
- Full Conference Fee £425.00 + VAT
- Day Delegate Rate £150.00 + VAT (per day)
- N.B. VAT is refundable for non-European delegates
Early Registration Offer!
All "Full Conference" delegates registering and paying in full by the 15th March 2009 will be entered into a draw to receive a rebate of £50. 100 winners will be drawn and notified on the 31st March 2009. The rebate will be paid at on arrival at the Conference.
